Israel's top filmmakers present a collection of short observations on the Israeli situation and the hope for a better future.

"I Have A Dream" is a continuation of the project "Israeli Moments", in which 17 filmmakers took on the challenge to express their feelings, thoughts or ideas on the situation in Israel and the Middle-East. In “I Have A Dream” the film creators will now probe the questions "what comes now" and "what comes next," presenting alternatives to the formats and narratives we are exposed to daily in the media.

We are living in a difficult time and place. We all know, for instance, that we want peace, amity, freedom, tranquility and love. The real question is what do we each see, hear or feel when we express these words? Is there a common denominator to all the "Dreams"? And if so, perhaps this can be the basis for peace. This is the opportunity to restore the lost dignity to vision, imagination and positive thinking that connect us as human beings and citizens of the world. This is the opportunity to click the "refresh" icon of dreams, determination, and the ambition to effect change.

The filmmakers in  "I Have A Dream” will afford the viewers a glimpse of their distinctive dreams on a sensual and experiential level, and a notion of their universal vision to connect to a utopia.

A noted poet once wrote that there are no small dreams, only small people, and the great people are those who will turn small dreams into great actions.
