From Jpost.com:
Samuel Maoz's movie Lebanon won best film at the Venice Film Festival on Saturday evening.
Set in the First Lebanon War, Maoz's film is about four soldiers dispatched to a hostile town, which turns out to be a far more dangerous assignment than they anticipated.
Itay Turan and Oshri Cohen, who were in Beaufort, another drama set in Lebanon, star, along with Moni Moshonov.

I saw this film same days ago and found it was a fantastic production ! The atmospheer is real wit his fear, anxiety, pain, terror ! I remember some friends who where on the net when the last events happened, terrible period, and fantastic Lebanon.
